In the july 2001 issue of logbriefers (will move to /2001/july.htm when done) is a list of 18 files which had their nedstat counter broken (due to the fact the makers didn't keep a netscape composer user into account, possibly cause they started earlier still)
There are many more files without counters (all of the second half of my site matter of fact).
I added a thingamabob from thecounter.com (to those 18 files) which counts only once per visitor (per week, day, month?) per site and not file (at least I think that is what is does). Well we're still in the stone age when it comes to counting on and accounting for anything worthwhile (indy7.htm is the latest slightly more elaborate remark thereon).
